Compare the powertrains
EV versions use battery-electric propulsion. DM-i versions are plug-in hybrids. Their battery capacity, electric range, engine and charging specifications need separate comparison.
Match the intended use
Consider daily distance, charging access, passenger requirements and local registration rules. Published test-cycle range does not predict every driver's real-world range.
Compare total quotation scope
Use the same quantity, destination and trade term for both quotations. Confirm sourcing, export preparation, transport and any excluded destination charges.
Is the Qin Plus EV or DM-i cheaper to import?
There is no useful answer without matching model years, trims and quotation scope. Request separate EV and DM-i quotations in one currency for the same quantity and destination. Compare the battery, charging equipment and powertrain alongside transport and preparation costs; a lower China reference price does not establish the lower imported cost.
Preparing a Qin Plus fleet or dealer enquiry
State how many EV and DM-i vehicles you need rather than using one combined quantity. List the model generation, trim and charging requirements for each group. Ask which substitutions require your approval, how long the quoted prices remain valid and whether sourcing will be assessed separately for each specification.
